How CandidShutters Media works — from first brief to final delivery. Our production process for corporate photography, video production, and film projects across India.
Whether it’s a corporate documentary shoot across three days at a client’s facility, a CSR film in a rural community, an employer branding session at a corporate campus, or an international MICE event in Dubai or Thailand – every project we take on follows the same process. The scale changes. The locations change. The process doesn’t.
What stays constant is our commitment to premium corporate video production – a structured, deliberate approach that holds whether we’re shooting in a boardroom in Gurugram or on location halfway across the world. Here’s what happens from the moment you get in touch to the moment you receive your final files.

Call, email, or fill the contact form — whichever works for you. Tell us what you need in as much or as little detail as you have. We don't need a complete brief to start the conversation. Discovery conversation
Before we send a proposal, we have a conversation — a call, an email exchange, or a WhatsApp chat, whatever works best for you. We want to understand your project properly — not just the logistics, but what success looks like. What is the content for? Who will watch it? What do you want them to feel or do after watching it? This is also where we tell you honestly whether we're the right fit for your project. We'd rather say that upfront than discover it halfway through production.
Proposal
Within 24 hours of understanding your requirement, we revert with a quote and proposal covering the scope of work, deliverables, production approach, timeline, and investment. Everything is itemised clearly — no hidden costs, no vague line items. Proposal includes: exact deliverables, shoot dates, edit and delivery timeline, revision rounds, payment terms, and GST invoice confirmation.
Agreement & scheduling
Once the proposal is approved, we send a simple agreement confirming everything — scope, dates, deliverables, and payment terms. A 50% advance confirms the booking and locks in the dates. We work within your company's standard payment process. GST invoices are issued for all payments.
Pre-production
This is where the real work starts — before a single camera is switched on. We invest time understanding the objective of your film or visual content in detail — what story needs to be told, what the key moments are, who the audience is, and what the content will ultimately be used for. For events, we coordinate with your team on the run of show, key moments, and access requirements. For films, we develop a shot list and production plan. For documentaries, we conduct a location recce and background research. The quality of the final output is directly tied to the quality of pre-production. We take this stage seriously — and we ask our clients to as well.
Production — shoot day
We arrive early. Always. Our crew deploys with full professional equipment — 4K cinema cameras, professional audio, gimbal, drone where applicable, and lighting rigs. All shoot logistics are handled by us. All footage and photography is backed up on-site the same day. Your data is never at risk. If anything changes on shoot day — schedule shifts, access changes, new requirements — we adapt and flag it so there are no surprises in post.
Post-production
All editing, colour grading, sound design, motion graphics, and music licensing is handled in-house at our Mumbai and Gurugram (Delhi NCR) post-production offices. Nothing is outsourced. Delivery timelines depend on the scope and number of shoot days: • Event photography gallery: 2-7 working days • Event highlight film: 2-7 working days • Brand film: 7-10 working days • Corporate documentary: 10-14 working days Rush delivery is available — discuss your deadline when you brief us. Every project includes two rounds of revisions as standard.
Final delivery
Final edited files are delivered via secure cloud transfer in all agreed formats. Raw footage and photography is stored on SSDs or hard drives provided by you during the shoot — so you have everything from day one. The edited material is delivered separately once post-production is complete. You receive: • Full resolution final film(s) in all agreed formats • Complete photography gallery — retouched and curated • Social media edits in required aspect ratios • Raw footage and photography on your drives
- We are a production agency — not a studio with fixed packages. Every project is scoped individually based on your brief.
- Our in-house team handles everything from pre-production through post-production delivery. We don’t subcontract your work.
- We deploy pan-India and internationally. Travel and logistics are handled by us and quoted transparently.
- We’ve been doing this since 2012. Most of our clients come back. Many refer us to others. That’s the standard we work to.
